ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): Private TV has claimed that the Prime Minister and the Army Chief have agreed on the name of the Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The new DG ISI will be the same as the one announced by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR).
Private TV 24 News, citing sources, claimed that the name of DG ISI was agreed upon in a long meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa last night. The new DG ISI will be Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, whose appointment will be notified by tomorrow. After the notification is issued, Nadeem Ahmed Anjum will assume his responsibilities from next week.
