Pakistan Army ready to defend geographical borders: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa

Bahawalpur (Daily Pakistan Online): Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has inspected the military exercises in Bahawalpur. On this occasion, he said that Pakistan Army is ready to defend the geographical borders.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief Bajwa visited Bahawalpur. He inspected military exercises at Khairpur Tamiwali and Israni. He was received by Corps Commander Bahawalpur Lt. Gen. Khalid Zia.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa reviewed the combat exercises of mechanized troops and field firing of various weapons. In the exercises, the formations carried out offensive tactical operations.

The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the high standard of formation training and operational readiness, spoke to the troops and called for realistic training to meet the challenges.

On the occasion, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the Pakistan Army would ensure the defense of Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty at all costs.
